The Mixed Ability Games, Innovation and Co-production 2025 (MAGIC) event is a series of prestigious and influential international activities that will bring together the Mixed Ability network during the IMART week in Pamplona. MAGIC will be celebrated in June 2025, with the support of the European Commission through its Erasmus+ Sport programme. The event is not-for-profit, free, and fully accessible, and is supported by International Mixed Ability Sports, IMAS España, Ayuntamiento de Pamplona, Gobierno de Navarra, Instituto Navarro del Deporte, Fundación Miguel Indurain, Universidad Pública de Navarra, INICO de la Universidad de Salamanca, CA Osasuna and many other partners.
Besides IMART 2025, MAGIC will include MA sport competitions in rowing, football, basketball, golf, kinball and a floor curl tournament supported by World Curl, as well as a series of educational conferences, presentations, clinics and open-mic sessions.
The week will culminate with an international conference named “Identities and Representation for an Inclusive Sporting Culture”, which will take place on June 27, 2025 in the El Sadar stadium in Pamplona, with the support of CA Osasuna. This conference will bring together academics, professionals, political leaders, clubs and sports organisations, as well as Sports Governing Bodies, to interact together with representatives from the disability, education, health and social care, civil society and the private sectors.

The MAW 2022 Conference in Cork (UCC)
What is the ‘Fringe’?
The Fringe is often used at festivals of all kinds to allow enthusiasts and supporters to tell their own story. Conferences can be very formal affairs. The Fringe gives everyone the opportunity to say what they want to say, how they want to say it, as relaxed or formal as you like. Just be yourself, and be creative!

And you? What’s your idea?
We want to hear from people and organisations that are interested in presenting in Pamplona. We will allocate a time slot to each accepted proposal, from Monday morning to Thursday afternoon. This will create a vibrant, co-produced and co-delivered educational fringe programme, which complements the practical experience of Mixed Ability sports, and will inform the final conference and overall reporting to policymakers.
This is your chance to have your voice heard!
